Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Reef macOS application and related cloud services (the "Service") provided by Igor Churbakov ("we", "us"), located at Kosti Palama 41, Limassol 4001, Cyprus. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Reef is a macOS companion for AI coding tools: it monitors AI CLI sessions, helps manage tasks and workflows, and provides optional meeting and calendar features. The Service is currently offered as a preview and may change without notice.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for activity under it. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to content you create or connect through the Service. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service. We do not use your content to train machine-learning models.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting unauthorized access, disrupting its operation, reverse engineering except as permitted by law, or using it to violate the rights of others or applicable law.

5. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party tools and services (for example, AI CLI tools, Google Calendar, and identity providers). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim (or USD 100 if you paid nothing).

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive will survive.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date; continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
