# About Reef (goreef.ai)

Reef is a native macOS application for teams that build software with fleets of AI agents. The public site is [https://goreef.ai](https://goreef.ai/). If you searched for the generic word "reef" and landed here, this is **Reef the product** — not a coral-reef guide.

## What it is

AI coding tools made writing code cheap and coordination expensive: too many sessions, unclear spend, plans that never quite match the board. Reef puts that operational layer in one Mac app. The signature surface is the MacBook notch: live sessions, permission prompts, and cost, without hunting through terminal windows. The kanban board is the control plane — idea, plan, cloud agent, pull request — with the economics on the card.

Reef is in **private preview**. It is not a public cloud IDE and it does not expose a third-party HTTP API.
